Also joining Dr. Grande for this field season is the enthusiastic group of budding paleontologists in his "Stones and Bones" class of advance-placement high school students and college undergraduates, taught through the University of Chicago Graham School. Now in its fourth year, the four-week course includes classroom instruction covers on evolutionary theory and paleontological methods, and two weeks of hands-on fieldwork. Student participating this year included Rosie Blewitt, Beth Carroll, Steve Clawson, Claire LaBarbera, Pius Parks, Lizzie Pelker, and Charlotte Weinstein.
