Pete Makovicky, Ph.D. Assistant Curator of Dinosaurs Assistant Curator of Dinosaurs Pete Makovicky is a specialist in the study of the evolutionary relationships between select groups of dinosaurs, including advanced theropods (carnivorous dinosaurs) and ceratopsians (horned dinosaurs). Pete studies the anatomical features of the dinosaur fossils that he and colleagues have excavated from around the world, and he uses this information to create theories as to how each of these dinosaurs relate to each other and how these dinosaur groups evolved.
