Report 2: Social Inventory

Ecuador & Peru

Anthropologist Dr. Alaka Wali explains how social inventories help identify existing organization strengths of indigenous communities that can become key components in developing and implementing land management plans. Local park managers and community leaders also discuss the threats currently facing the Amazon Basin and its native peoples. This is the second installment in a ten-part series of video reports documenting The Field Museum’s expedition to the Amazon lowlands.
