Paleontologists Pete Makovicky and Nate Smith demonstrate how they remove the blocks of fossil-bearing rock containing Cryolophosaurus bones from the Mt. Kirkpatrick quarry and airlift them via helicopter back to camp. This is the tenth in a series of video reports documenting the team’s daily life and fieldwork during their expedition to Antarctica.
