Antarctica team member Dr. William Hammer shares his perspective on completing the Cryolophosaurus excavation, which has spanned 20 years of his career, and Dr. Pete Makovicky shows how 5,000 pounds of fossils get shipped from the Central Transantarctic Mountains back to McMurdo Station. This is the eleventh in a series of video reports documenting the team’s daily life and fieldwork during their expedition to Antarctica.
