Meet a juvenile Lettered Araçari (Pteroglossus inscriptus). Although considered a smaller species of toucan, this brightly colored bird still has a comically large bill. This is the third installment in a series of bird videos by Dr. Jason Weckstein documenting the 2007 joint expedition between The Field Museum and Brazil’s Goeldi Museum to survey Amazonian species along the Rio Japurá and its tributaries.
